Kevin Knox Honored in First Team

Knicks lottery pick Kevin Knox provided hope — and 21.3 points a game — and as a result landed on the first team of the All-NBA Summer League teams.

Behind Knox’s athleticism, the Knicks finished the competition in Las Vegas, which featured affiliates of all 30 teams, with a 2-3 record. Knox, selected with the ninth pick, was impressive in some way every time he hit the floor

Second-year player Josh Hart was named the league’s MVP.  Joining Hart on the MGM Resorts All-NBA Summer League First Team are Chicago Bulls forward Wendell Carter Jr., Knicks forward Kevin Knox, Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton and Milwaukee Bucks center Christian Wood.

The Knicks have every right to feel good about Kevin Knox so far. He’s played terrific during summer league. The kid is only 18 years old. It would be fun to see Robinson, Porzingis and Knox as part of the Knicks frontcourt. Enes Kanter could be part of that as well, giving the Knicks some toughness, size advantage and defense.
