‘Halloween in Uptown Heights’ Gets Three Nominations

Great news after another! ‘Halloween in Uptown Heights’ received three nominations today from the Independent Horror Movie Awards. The nominations are for Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Atmosphere.

Halloween in Uptown Heights is the second horror short film I created in the month of October 2020. I will say that this my least favorite film that I’ve done. Why? I could’ve taken my time to shoot this movie the right away and tell a much better storytelling. I did rushed it because I wanted to fulfill my promise to put out two shorts for the Halloween season, and I did. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to submit this film to various film festivals.

Well, life is full of surprises, ain’t it? Here I am getting nominated for a film that I am not entirely satisfied with, but I’ll take it, haha.
