This day is special! Why? It’s Happy Mario Day. This Mario character was a big part of my childhood. I used to love playing the Super Smash Bros and Yoshi’s Island on Super Nintendo. I can’t ever forget about the Mario Party games when I had it for Nintendo 64. The late 90s and early 2000s were some of the best memories as a kid. I will always be a kid at heart, and I thank Shigeru Miyamoto, a Japanese video game designer who created Mario.
Mario has appeared in over 200 video games; the Mario franchise is arguably the best-selling video game franchise of all time. Charles Martinet has done the voiceover for the Mario character since 1990.
All this talk about Mario makes me want to play some Mario games. I might go to my parent’s crib tomorrow and play some Mario games on Super Nintendo. Yes! I still have Super Nintendo. Don’t judge me, haha.
