Friends: The Reunion

Friends: The Experience 2020

Isn’t this dope? I had the opportunity to go to two Friends events.

I finally saw the Friends Reunion. The reunion show aired on HBO Max on May 27th. I didn’t see it right away because I was in Vegas for my birthday celebration. I’ll talk about that in a separate blog post. It’s been 17 years since Friends went off the air.

The first half of the reunion special made me a little bored, but the second half got me interested. The special could’ve been shrinking down a notch.

I loved the behind-the-scenes of the show. I laughed at the couch episode where Ross is saying “Pivot!” as he’s struggling with the couch. After the take, you can see Ross, Chandler, and Rachel laughing over and over again.

Ross and Rachel admitting that they had real feelings for each other put a big smile on my face. I kinda was like, “I knew it.”

Matt LeBlanc had me laughing during the reunion. Without him, you can’t have a friends reunion. He seems such a cool, laid-back dude.

The ending was emotional and touching. Matthew choking up almost got me. That man has been through a lot. I took notice of some parts of the reunion; he didn’t look too happy. But it’s good to see all of them together again.
