Iverson Clement Leaves Temple Program

On Monday, coach Rod Carey told the media that Temple running back Iverson Clement has left the Owls program. Clement, who transferred from Florida this offseason, was not with the program during fall camp and so far this year due to personal reasons.

“He’s back and forth right now,” Carey said of Clement in August. “We’ve got some things going on with him that we’ve got to get him settled down with his life and everything like that. So he hasn’t been around a whole ton right now. But we’re looking forward to getting him back in the mix here and just trying to be supportive of him.”

During the 2020 SEC season, Clement took five carries for 29 yards, including a long of 17. Overall in his two-plus-year career at Florida, in 13 games from 2018-20, Clement attempted 12 rushes for 94 yards.
