Damian Lillard is 531 points shy of breaking Clyde Drexler’s all-time franchise scoring mark. Drexler is a Hall of Famer and is the Trail Blazers’ all-time scoring leader with 18,040 points. Lillard is also a future hall of Famer and soon will be the king of the new record.
After trailing 14-0 to New Mexico State, UNLV Rebels rallied to win the contest, 31-20. Rebels quarterback Doug Brumfield completed 24 of his 33 passes and threw for 233 yards. Special teams did their thing. Kicker Daniel Gutierrez went 3 for 3 in field goals. The longest field goal went for 50 yards.
