Lisa Marie Presley Dead at 54 After Cardiac Arrest

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late great Elvis Presley, died on Thursday after an apparent cardiac arrest. She was 54 years old.

Days before her hospitalization, Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley attended the Golden Globe Awards in support of the Baz Luhrmann film “Elvis,” starring actor Austin Butler, who picked up an award for his portrayal of the King.

Presley developed a career in the music business and issued three albums: To Whom It May Concern, Now What, and Storm and Grace. Her first album reached Gold certification with the RIAA.

Presley has also done charity work and is a humanitarian. She formed The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation in 1984 to continue Elvis’ tradition of generosity and community service and to honor his memory.
