It’s been a rollercoaster season for the New York Mets. This is one of the lousiest teams in MLB this season so far. It’s unfortunate because there’s a lot of talent on the roster. On Wednesday, things turned worse, especially from what they saw from one of their players. Mets reliever Jorge Lopez argued and believed that Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman had swung on an inside pitch. Lopez was ejected from the game and tossed his glove into the stands. After the game, he told media reporters that he was playing for the worst team in the MLB. The Mets DFA Lopez and no longer part of the team.
Edmonton Oilers came into Game 4 in a must-win situation. After trailing 2-0 in Game 4, the Oilers scored five straight goals. Goalie Stuart Skinner was solid after giving up two goals. Leon Draisaitl was sensational for Edmonton. He’s a different beast in the postseason. Oilers should’ve been up 3-1 in the series if they had never squandered a 2-0 lead in Game 3, but now the series is tied 2-2. Game 5 will be in Dallas and the Oilers have to win on the road.
Louisville officials have dropped all charges against Scottie Scheffler. It’s been a trying and challenging time for Scottie. It doesn’t matter how great you are, these off-the-golf course problems can take a toll on you from a psychological standpoint. These last two weeks of this month have been hectic for him and his family. Scottie can now move on and hopefully, he will stay away from the negative press for the rest of his career. He’s too valuable and important to the sport of Golf.
