Rafael Campos won the Butterfield Bermuda Championship on Sunday.
Campos shot a 3-under 68 to finish at 19-under par and earn his first PGA Tour victory.
It’s a remarkable win for Campos. He had missed 13 of his last 14 cuts on the PGA Tour. Now, he gets to celebrate with his loved ones and he was visibly emotional.

“It’s been an unbelievable week,” Campos said. “Best week of my life. After such a bad year, to have things kind of go my way, everything together at once, I’m just so happy and grateful to have the support I do; my team, my coaches, my sponsors, my family, my caddy did a great job today. I just can’t believe this is actually happening to me after such a year, and I’m just grateful to be able to call myself a PGA champion. It’s something I’ve dreamed about all my life, and I just can’t wait to call my family.”
He became a father last Monday and is now a PGA Tour winner. He is the second Puerto Rican golfer after Chi Chi Rodriguez to win on the PGA Tour.
Campos is now 80th in the standings. High expectations for him for the 2026 season.
