Bruin Capital founder and CEO George Pyne launches a new global soccer agency, As1.

Pyne interviewed with CNBC about his brand and its offerings.

“We’ve seen a lot of institutional capital come into the agency space,” Pyne said. “EQT invested in UTA, and they’ve made a big investment in the football agency business. Providence Equity and Wasman Media TPG was in with CA, and now we have a French conglomerate, so this whole space is getting more professionalized, more institutional capital, so we feel great that we can play in the space and add a lot of value.”

Here’s what to know about AS1:

– Global football agency represents 300 players and coaches

– Focuses on elite athlete support and brand growth

– Backed by Bruin Capital to redefine athlete representation

Pyne also owns a company called Box to Box, which does a lot of programming. He also mentioned that athletes can own part of a company and their own media, which wasn’t there about a decade ago.

“We see that as an opportunity to create value for them but also for our company,” Pyne said.

AS1 has reached milestones such as 703 million in total market value.

Pyne and AS1 are experts in data, social, digital media, websites, ads, streaming, commercialization, selling, and sponsorships. They work in every part of the value chain.
