Denver Nuggets gained revenge on the Oklahoma City Thunder. On Monday night, the Nuggets went on the road and beat the No. 1 seed in the West 140-127.
Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets took this game personally. Both teams face each other on Sunday, and Shai Gildeous Alexander scored 40 points and beat the Nuggets.
It was Jokic’s turn to make his MVP case loud and clear on Monday night. Jokic answered with 35 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists.
Let’s not forget that he made history on Friday night against the Phoenix Suns. He became the first player to score 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 20 assists in a game.
The season series between these two Western Conference contenders is over. Both teams have split the series at 2-2. We need to see a Nuggets—Thunder matchup in the playoffs, and it should be in the Western Conference Finals.
Dave Roberts Signs Extension to Remain Dodgers Manager
Dave Roberts and the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a four-year extension.
Roberts, 52, will manage the 2025 season under his current contract, which is entering its final year.
Roberts has led the Dodgers to four National League pennants, eight division titles, and a .627 regular-season winning percentage.
In addition, The Dodgers won at least 100 regular-season games in five of six full seasons from 2017 to 2023.
Former MLB Player Mo Vaughn Admits to HGH Use
Former MLB player and 1995 AL MVP MonVaughn confirmed that he took human growth hormone during his playing career.
Vaughn is mainly known for his best years with the Boston Red Sox. In 1995, his production led the Red Sox to the postseason. He batted 39 homers with 126 RBIs.
Vaughn played for the Anaheim Angels and New York Mets, but he didn’t achieve the same success with those teams as with the Red Sox.
Vaughn was among the players named in 2007 in the Mitchell report.
