Nvidia announced that, for the first time, it will produce AI supercomputers entirely in the U.S.

Nvidia made this move after President Donald Trump imposed high tariffs on various countries. Nvidia has many manufacturers and other elements in Taiwan. The tariffs on Taiwan’s products have reached 32 percent.

According to CNBC, the company wrote that Nvidia also has plans to “building manufacturing plants for its supercomputers in Texas, partnering with Foxconn in Houston and with Wistron in Dallas. It expects to reach mass production at both facilities within 12 to 15 months.”
