Larry David doesn’t believe in retirement and still has plenty left in the tank. The genius comedic writer will return to HBO after wrapping “Curb Your Enthusiasm” with a new sketch comedy show about American history.
David will work alongside the power couple, former President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama. The Obamas will serve as executive producers under their Higher Ground Productions.
David and Jeff Schaffer have a long history of writing projects together. They will team up once again for this new series. David and Schaffer worked together on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Schaffer was also the Showrunner, executive producer, and director of a couple of episodes.
Schaffer is expected to have the director’s chair for the sketch comedy series. David is a related writer. His work in Seinfeld was a masterpiece, and he did it again with “Curb.” David and Schaffer have not let us down, and we shouldn’t go against them in this new sketch series.
We’re still unsure who will be in the cast. Knowing David, he will have a lot of special guests on the series. We will see established actors and actresses in the sketch series. In the meantime, we will wait and see who will join the cast and the status of the premiere date.
