NBA on Prime is adding many heavy hitters to its broadcast team for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Many broadcasters joining the NBA on Lrime are coming from the NBA on TNT, which has been a big part of basketball coverage since 1990. But now the NBA will have Amazon, NBC, and ESPN to take over for TNT.

Ian Eagle, Kevin Harlan, Stan Van Gundy, Dell Curry, and many more will be part of the NBA on Prime team. Eagle, who has been a play-by-play announcer for decades, is thrilled and motivated to get started with his collaboration with Amazon.

“I’m thrilled to join the NBA on Prime team,” Eagle said. “To be a part of building something from the ground up is truly special, and I’m excited to connect with fans while bringing the energy of the NBA to this enormous platform. Prime Video has put together an extraordinary group. I can’t wait to work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry to inform and entertain the audience for many years to come. It’s going to be a blast!”

We certainly hope that the NBA coverage on Prime will be a blast. They added so much talent, and we hope that this business decision pays off.

Eagle and Harlan are some of the best in the industry when it comes to play by play. There’s a reason they’ve been around for so many years. They bring so much passion and great wordplay, quotes in describing what’s happening in the game and avoid talking too much.
