Tampa Bay Rays’ bullpen struggled again as the Rays fell to the Boston Red Sox 4-3 on Thursday night at Fenway Park.

The Rays led 3-1 until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Red Sox rallied for three runs off Bryan Baker, who the Baltimore Orioles traded to the Rays for a 37th overall pick in the 2025 MLB amateur draft.

Ceddanne Rafaela came up huge for the Sox when he hit a two-run single to bring Marcelo Mayer and Romy Gonzalez. The Red Sox trailed 3-1 and finished the game with three unanswered runs.

Rays shortstop Ha Seong Kim hit a 2-run home run in this game. Junior Camerino also went deep. It’s Caminero’s 23rd home run of the season. Rays starter Taj Bradley went five innings with five strikeouts and gave up just one earned run and two hits.

Drew Rasmussen (7-5, 2.82 ERA, 76 SO) will take the mound for the Rays against Hunter Dobbins (4-1, 4.10 ERA, 43 SO) on Friday at 7:10 p.m. ET.
