Oracle is promoting executives Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia to the joint role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Safra Catz, who has led the company since 2014.

It’s been an interesting couple of months at Oracle. Clay and Mike were promoted to presidents of the company, and now, June and they are the CEOs of the company. It’s rare to see someone being encouraged that quickly within months in a company.

Although both are named CEOs, there’s a possibility that one will earn more money than the other. If that does happen, then one would wonder how they will handle the situation in the workplace. It will become too competitive and childish, or will they brush it off and remain professional, focusing on the success of the business?

Artificial Intelligence infrastructure is a significant development for Oracle. They want to be taken seriously about this AI model, and over time, people will start taking them more seriously.

Is it a good time to invest and buy Oracle? Many investors will have to think big and deep if they want to gamble on Oracle with this big news that they just delivered. We could see Oracle having a big year if the two bosses can elevate the company’s growth.
