Steven Fisk is a professional golfer who is perhaps having the most memorable year of his young golfing career.

The 28-year-old won his first PGA Tour title last Sunday after capping off his final-round surge at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He beat out Garrick Higgo to win the title.

It became a feel-good story, and it was terrific to witness him sharing this accomplishment with his family.

What else do you need to know about Steven Fisk?

Fisk is about 5’10 and weighs 175 pounds. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Georgia Southern University. He began playing Golf when he was five years old. However, the attention from the Golf universe started when he was at the university.

Fisk played golf at the university, and during his time there, he became an All-American and set a school record for scoring average.

What’s so amazing and fascinating about Fisk’s story is that he never took a good lesson until he turned pro. You read that correctly. The young man didn’t take lessons until he made his journey to the pros, which came to fruition in 2019, before the pandemic

Fisk has the potential to be the next phenomenal golf player on tour. He will have an exemption through 2027. With this victory, Fisk has momentum and should take advantage of improving his game so he can have a bigger season in 2026. The future is bright for the young man.
