Mother’s Day is one of the most important and special days of the year.

Although we should treat Mother’s Day every single day, we are blessed to have a mother who took care of us and was always there for the ups and downs. Mothers are unique and will never tire of advising their children, no matter how old they grow.

Mothers are the one person in anyone’s life who will never leave their side. There have been numerous great songs dedicated to mothers.

Taylor Swift – “The Best Day”

Outstanding lyrics by Swift in this song. The production of this song is off the charts. If you’re not a big country song fanatic, you might as well start today for Mother’s Day. It’s one of those songs to have on the playlist.

Swift wrote this song when she was a teenager. “The Best Day” is part of her 2008 “Fearless” album. The song’s success was big time, as it reached the top 100 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The single went certified gold.

Meghan Trainor – “Mom” featuring Kelli Trainor

Another beautiful song to dedicate to all mothers around the world. Trainor wrote this song alongside Sean Douglas, Gian Stone, her brother Justin, and Pat Ballard.

It’s cool to see a collaboration between mother and daughter in this track. The track single is part of Trainor’s second studio album, Thank You.

Sergio Vargas – “Madre Mia”

Vargas is one of the most celebrated and greatest Merengue artists of all time. His career spans decades since he came onto the scene in the 1980s.

“Madre Mia” is a classic track that every Dominican dedicates to their mom on this day and on Dominican Mother’s Day, which is the last Sunday of May.

Boyz to Men – “A Song for Mama”

A very emotional song for all the mothers. When it’s a Boyz II Men song, it can make some feel something emotionally. It’s one of those R&B groups that know how to hit your soul with their amazing words.

No group can hit those harmonies like Boyz II Men. The hook in the song makes it unforgettable. “A Song for Mama” deserves more attention, and hopefully it will in the future. For some reason, the song feels underrated. Let’s keep this song alive for eternity.

2pac – “Dear Mama”

Save the best for last, as they say. May God bless Tupac Shakur for writing an outstanding song like “Dear Mama.” It’s one of those songs that is often repeated on Mother’s Day.

“Dear Mama” lyrics are often shared on social media by anyone when this particular day comes around. 2Pac has never shied away or denied his love for his mother. He always said that his mom was number one in his life. 2Pac learned how to be revolutionary and a leader from her.

Shakur left this world at 25, but he made a major impact while alive, as people still talk about him to this day.
