I can’t end Thursday without my one and only Sports Throwback Thursday edition. This one belongs to the 2006 D-Generation X reunion featuring the leaders Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

Words can’t describe how excited I was to see this reunion come to life. I remember I was completing middle school when this happened on a Monday Night Raw episode. Vince McMahon had an ongoing feud with Shawn Michaels and recently started a feud with Triple H. There was a group called “The Spirit Squad” assigned by Vince McMahon to fight Shawn and now HHH. On this Monday night episode, HBK was out because The Spirit Squad injured him. It was Triple H’s turn to get a taste of the same medicine. Vince wanted the group to break HHH’s neck. However, something special was about to happen.

Shawn Michaels returned and helped HHH clean the house by taking out the Spirit Squad. After HBK gave a Sweet Chin Music to one of the members, HHH followed with a pedigree. We were witnessing the reuniting of DX. I screamed like a girl watching this on my living room TV. When I saw DX gave the ‘Suck it’ crotch to Vince, that got me even more excited. The funniest part was when HHH flashed his ass to Vince McMahon, and Vince’s face was pure GOLD. Vince is one helluva actor.
