We are two days away from Game 1 of the 2024 World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Apple TV+ has announced that a docuseries will be created to cover the World Series.

Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani have put on a show this regular season. Both are front runners to win the AL and NL MVP. Judge finished with 58 homers, and Ohtani finished with 54.
It’s the first time two 50-home run hitters will face off in the World Series. Dodgers and Yankees have met 12 times in the World Series, and the Yankees won eight of them.
The level of star power on both teams is incredible. We might not see this again in a long time.
MLB and Apple TV+ have a continuous partnership. MLB games are streamed on Apple TV+ for Friday Night Baseball.
Imagine Documentaries will serve as the producers of the highly anticipated documentary. Imagine Documentaries are known for their work, such as (The Dynasty: New England Patriots), and The Machine (Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry).
It’s rare to see two great No. 1 teams play one another in the World Series. It hasn’t been done since the 2013 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and St Louis Cardinals. The Red Sox won in six games.
Dodgers and Yankees haven’t faced each other in the Fall Classic since 1981. The Dodgers won the series in six games.
The 2024 Yankees’ pitching has to find ways to slow down the Dodgers’ powerhouse lineup. It’s not just Ohtani; it’s Mookie Betts, Teoscar Hernandez, Kike Hernandez, and a healthy Freddie Freeman.
For millennials and Gen Z, this is their first East vs. West series of two of the largest markets in the United States.
It’s a big deal that Apple TV+ will stream a docuseries about the World Series. This is an exciting time for baseball fans.
The Dodgers/Yankees series needs to be great, and both teams are facing a lot of pressure not only to win but also to give the fans great competition.
