Justin Rose makes history. Rose wins the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. He finished going -23 (70).

The 45-year-old dominated the weekend. Rose is playing like he’s in his mid-20s. Rose is the first wire-to-wire winner at Torrey Pines since 1955. He also won the Torrey Pines in 2019. His longtime caddie, Mark Fulcher, had heart surgery that same year. Rose had him in mind during this win.

Rose is playing some of the best golf of his career, and we don’t see him slowing down any time soon. Rose picked up birdies at the sixth, eighth, and ninth. He’s the oldest player to secure the wire-to-wire finish on your. It’s his 13th PGA Tour title.

“It’s an amazing feeling to win anytime, any place by one, by whoever, wherever on any golf course,” Rose said. “When you start to think about some of the ways this week unfolded, it really is probably extraordinary.”

Rose is proud to keep progressing and to win under pressure. There’s a lot of self-satisfaction. He enjoys playing at Torrey Pines.

“This has always been one of my favorite tournaments to come to,” Rose said. “Whether it’s just the San Diego area, the Del Mar area, the golf course itself. I think last year I missed the cut for both the farmers and the Genesis that we had here that one year. But anyway, what a week from start to finish. I just got really disciplined this week.”

Rose managed his game right, and he developed great mental maturity throughout the weekend. It was a sensational performance.

Pierceson Woody finished second. Si Woo Kim finished third. Five-time major winner Brooks Koepka finished in a fire for 56th after a final round of 70. His first tournament back on the PGA Tour since leaving LIV Golf.
