Josh Brolin Says No to Lanterns

If you’re a Josh Brolin fan, you might not be happy to hear this news. Brolin decided to pass on the offer of being the leading man in the Lanterns project. The series is part of DC Studios.

Brolin was going to portray the character Hal Jordan, the cocky Green Lantern hero previously played by Ryan Reynolds in the 2011 Green Lantern movie. We wonder what led to Brolin not taking the role. Could it be a pay situation? Lackluster script?

Josh McLaughlin Heading to Nine Stories Productions

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal owns Nine Stories Productions. A veteran executive, Josh McLaughlin, decided to join the production company and work with Gyllenhaal.

McLaughlin has worked in many places but is best known for his ten-year tenure at Focus Features. He contributed to projects such as Spike Lee’s Oscar-winning BlacKkKlansman, The Darkest Hour, and The Phantom Thread.

A&E is Bringing A New Series ‘Faces of Evil’

A six-part series is coming to A&E Networks that will focus on some of the notorious murderers from the United States and the United Kingdom. There’s no doubt that this series is going to make a lot of TV viewers because we don’t like to see cold-blooded people doing heinous things to innocent lives.

Woodcut Media is creating a series called Faces of Evil. It will be one of those series with many twists and turns in the investigations. One of the names that we will keep an eye on is Dorothea Puente. Why? Puente is known for fooling everyone into thinking she was a harmless old lady for over a decade. But it didn’t turn out that way. She was connected to a murder in California.
