American journalist and author Maria Bartiromo is no longer with Fox News Media.
The Fox News leadership team decided to part ways with her, possibly because of something related to Donald Trump. However, the firing could be for many other reasons we may not know. When it comes to firings, there are many behind-the-scenes nuances, and not everything will be disclosed at the moment.
Fox put out a statement about Maria and the contributions she brought to the company. Fox put a positive spin on her departure, saying in a statement, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
Bartiromo joined Fox in 2014. She lives in New York City. Before coming to Fox, she worked for CNBC for 20 years. She also served as a producer at CNN for years. Bertiromo has done well for herself. There’s no lazy bone in her body. Her resume speaks for itself whether you’re a fan of hers or not. That’s not luck. That’s hard work and effort.
In 1995, Bartiromo became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange daily. Bartiromo is a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University and the Board of Directors of The National Italian American Foundation.
Bartiromo was born to parents of Italian descent. She graduated from New York University. During her studies at NYU, she focused on journalism and economics. Bartiromo won two Emmys throughout her career. The first was for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast. The second was for Outstanding Business and Economic Reporting – Long Form.
