Today, 30 years ago, Pulp Fiction appeared on the big screen. Quentin Tarantino’s writing and directing abilities took him to the stratosphere in Hollywood, and Pulp Fiction is regarded as one of the greatest films of all time.
Pulp Fiction stars Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Bruce Willis, and Ving Rhames. The cast is loaded with talent. Tarantino has an eye for the actors he wants in his movies, and some of them went on to work with him on future projects.
Jackson and Thurman became Tarantino’s most frequent collaborators. Tim Roth has worked on several future projects with him as well.
Pulp Fiction is a long movie that keeps you glued to the TV set. The story’s pacing, theme, and strong acting performances will leave you wanting to discover what will happen next.
Jackson portrays the character of Jules Winnfield. Travolta portrays the character of Vincent Vega, Thurman, as Mia Wallace.
The movie has many iconic scenes, especially every scene where Jackson and Travolta are together in black and white suits. Also, any scene with Bruce Willis is excellent. He’s phenomenal playing the character of Butch Coolidge.
One of the entertainment scenes in the movie is the dance scene with Mia and Vincent. During the behind-the-scenes, Tarantino was also dancing. He did this to bring more passion and enthusiasm to the set, and it’s his creative way of directing his actors.
That’s not the only time we see Travolta and Thurman dance in a movie. About 11 years later, they reunite in the film Be Cool, where they become love interests. Their dance scene in Be Cool is also exciting to watch.
Tarantino won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Pulp Fiction made Jackson a household name. The movie also redeems Travolta’s career.
Pulp Fiction changed many lives for the better, and the movie is still celebrated and watched today.
