Sean “Diddy” Combs was found not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.

The 55-year-old music mogul was arrested in September for the crimes and wrongdoing he committed. This investigation has been going on for months and months.

Combs has been accused of kidnapping, bribery, sex crimes, and cover-ups. Diddy did not deny the facts of the “freak offs.” Mia and Jane were two accusers who testified against Combs. Mia is a former personal assistant of Combs.

The attorney for singer Cassie Ventura, Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriend, and a witness in the case must be extremely upset today. Ventura was shown on camera getting beaten by Combs in Los Angeles. Why did the jurors not see all the evidence and consider it? Could it be that Combs paid the jurors?

Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, certainly wasn’t too pleased with the verdict but remains optimistic and will continue fighting for Cassie. He put out a statement saying the following:

“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” Wigdor said.

It’s a massive loss for the Justice system. Is it surprising? No. We have seen this in the past: people worship wealthy individuals who commit heinous crimes and have bad behavior overall.

Wealthy people who are humble and do right by people should be celebrated. Wealthy people like Combs should not be celebrated and don’t deserve a “Free Diddy” chant. The jurors should be ashamed of themselves.

Combs has been in a position of power for decades due to his work in the music industry, but he has abused his power over the years. The system still has a long way to go.
