Days of Thunder 2 will be made, and fans are excited about it.
Tom Cruise and Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer will definitely be involved in the movie. Cruise and Bruckheimer have a history of working together on various projects.
It will be curious to see how Cruise approaches this movie. Given his age, is he going to put it all on the line and get behind the wheel? Will he be a crew chief or car owner in the movie?
If Cruise does not drive in the movie, this will leave a bad taste in many people’s mouths. Imagining the sequel to Days of Thunder without Cruise driving a car will be hard.
Regardless, the sequel is not going to surpass the original 1990 movie. The original film had a loaded cast of characters and a fantastic storyline. It’s one of the best racing movies ever made. Authentic. High adrenaline and phenomenal direction.
Moviegoers want to see the same vibe from the sequel as they did with the original movie. We must brace ourselves that the sequel will focus on its film and not try to copy or replicate the original Days of Thunder movie.
Cruise is a terrific actor. He does his homework to perform at a high level in every role. The movie will most likely do well at the box office and show a great representation of the sport of NASCAR.
