Stone Cold Steve Austin is 60 years old and is one of the greatest and most popular superstars in wrestling.

Austin single-handedly revolutionized the WWE. He’s a 7-time world champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner, 1996 King of the Ring winner, and 2009 WWE Hall of Famer.

Austin is known for many things, but he’s one of the few wrestlers who have received loud pops and standing ovations. Austin, The Rock, and Hulk Hogan are the only three wrestlers whose theme music can make the fans scream and cheer loudly for them.

Here are the Top 4 Stone Cold Steve Austin Best Pops:

4) Stone Cold Returns to Save Team WWF From Team Alliance

In an episode of Raw in July 2001, Austin came into the ring and cleaned the house. He gave a “Stone Cold Stunner” to a variety of wrestlers from The Alliance, a blend of superstars from WCW and ECW. It was a great ending to a Raw episode.

The crowd went wild when Austin’s music hit, and Austin talking crazy while walking to the ring made it more epic.

3) Stone Cold Drives Zamboni

1998 was Austin at his peak. In an episode of Raw from Sep 1998 in Detroit, Austin entered the arena by driving a Zamboni. Vince McMahon was talking in the ring about Austin and screwing him out of the WWF championship belt. The Undertaker and Kane were also in the ring.

McMahon was interrupted by Austin’s appearance, and the police couldn’t do anything to stop him. Austin attacked McMahon in the ring, and then the officers put the handcuffs on Austin. It is one of the best moments of the Attitude era, one of the best moments of the Austin/McMahon rivalry.

2) Backlash 2000

One of the loudest pops ever. In this Backlash 2000 pay-per-view event, the main event was The Rock vs Triple H for the WWF Championship. Shane McMahon was the special referee, while Vince McMahon was in Triple H’s corner.

Austin was supposed to be in The Rock’s corner, but he didn’t show up until the final moments of the match. When Triple H was about to hit him with a pedigree, Austin’s music hit the arena, and the crowd erupted in excitement. Austin laid out everyone with the chair.

1) Stone Cold Help Manking Win First WWF Title

The Rock vs. Mankind battled in an unforgettable Lumberjack match for the WWF title. This took place in a Monday night Raw episode as the main event. The Rock was the hell, and Mankind was the good character.

Austin received arguably the loudest and most incredible pop ever when he came out of the titantron. Like in Backlash 2000, Austin laid out someone with the chair, but this time, it was to The Rock, with whom he was feuding.

Austin nailed Rock with the chair, allowing Mankind to go for the pin. Mankind won his first WWF championship, and several wrestlers lifted him to celebrate him.
