Heat improved 15-13 in the season. Magic fall to 19-13
On Thursday night, the matchup between the Florida teams felt like a classic 1990s playoff matchup.
The Heat had four players in double figures. Herro finished the game with 20 points, 3reb, and three three-pointers.

Jimmy Butler did not play in this game as he is battling a stomach illness. The team had to deal with distractions about Hutker potentially getting traded, but they needed to focus on trying to win their first meeting against the Magic, which they did without him.
It is one of the Heat’s toughest wins this season. The Magic won the previous two matchups.
Alec Bucks added 17 points with six rebounds, three steals, and three three-pointers.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. has been struggling lately, but he finally had a solid performance against the Magic. He added 15 points, five steals, four rebounds, and four assists.
Jalen Suggs led the Magic with 29 points. Tristan da Silva added 18 points with six rebounds in 39 minutes.
The Magic will face the New York Knicks on Friday, and the Heat will travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks on Saturday.
