The Miami Hurricanes dominated South Florida and didn’t break a sweat. Hurricanes won 49-12, improving their record to 3-0.

The team set the tone when scoring the first two touchdowns in their opening drives. Wide receiver Joshua Moore had a good game, and he won’t forget this one. Moore had three receptions, two of which were touchdowns.

CJ Daniels was sensational again. He finished the night with four catches for 56 yards.

Quarterback Carson Beck answered the bell again for the third straight week. Beck completed 23 of his 28 passes. He had three touchdowns but two interceptions. Beck did more positives than negatives. So that’s a win.

Running back Mark Fletcher Jr was running like a machine. Fletcher Jr ran for 120 yards and had two touchdowns.

Wide receivers Keelan Marion and Malachi Toney combined for 12 receptions and 147 yards.

Hurricanes did a good job on the third-down conversion. Miami went 7 of 11 on third down.

The defensive line was a beast against South Florida. The defense kept pressuring and blotting the quarterback. South Florida’s receivers didn’t have a chance against the Hurricanes’ defense. Hurricanes limit South Florida to just 40 rushing yards.

Defensive Coordinator Corey Heyherman continues to do a great job leading this defense.

What was their most significant flaw in this game? The penalties. The Hurricanes committed nine penalties, which was too many for the Hurricanes. It was sloppy, and they have to tone it down.

Hurricanes will face the Florida Gators next Saturday as they will go for 4-0.
