The Colorado Rockies continue to be busy in the offseason, adding and signing more players to their roster.

Business in baseball in the off-season is an interesting time. The Rockies agreed to bring three players for the upcoming 2026 season.

Who Are The Three Players Colorado Has Agreed to Terms With?

Mickey Moniak

The 27-year-old outfielder avoided arbitration and signed a $4 million extension to come back to Colorado. Moniak had an impressive 2025 season with the Rockies. It’s perhaps the best season of his professional career.

Mickey hit a slash line of .270/.306/.518 with 24 home runs, 68 RBIs, and 117 hits. It’s a great way to start the first season with the ball club. It was a miserable season for the team, but he made the best out of it with his performance. We hope that his second season turns out to be the same or even better.

The Philadelphia Phillies selected him in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He played three seasons with the Phillies, three with the Los Angeles Angels, and now three’s a charm with the Rockies.

Moniak is entering his prime years. His primary position is center field, but the team will most likely start him as their right fielder. It’s a good signing for the ballclub.

Ryan Feltner

The second signing the ballclub made was to pitcher Feltner on a $2.45 million deal.

The 29-year-old right-handed pitcher hasn’t been having much success in the pros. Ryan is struggling to accumulate more wins than losses. In addition, he needed to tone down on earned runs. He played only six games in the 2025 season, going 0-2 with a 4.75 ERA.

Feltner is entering his sixth season with the Rockies. He’s been with the organization since 2018, but didn’t make his debut until 2021. A pitching sensation in high school at Walsh Jesuit High School in Ohio, and then in college when he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The 2026 season must be a redemption season for Feltner, and the team is counting on him to deliver.

Brenton Doyle

The Rockies signed Doyle to a $3.1 million deal. The 27-year-old center fielder finished the 2025 season hitting 15 home runs and 57 RBIs in 502 at-bats.

Brenton will enter his fourth season with the club. In 2024, he hit a career high of 23 home runs, 72 RBIs, and 141 hits. Although his numbers dropped a little in 2025, the Rockies see a lot of potential in him to get better for the new season. He brings athleticism, is an excellent defender, and has a strong arm. Making strides in his plate approach will be crucial for him.
