Team USA defeated Team Denmark 6-3 at the Winter Olympics on Saturday.
Denmark has the USA a little scared in the game. Denmark grabbed a 2-1 lead. Team USA had an answer for them thanks to the scoring of Brady Tkachuk, Jack Eichel, and Biah Hanifin.
In the third period, Jack Guentzel scored a goal for the USA, followed by Jack Hughes, who added the sixth goal for the USA. Team USA showed resilience and mental toughness after trailing, which came as a surprise. Eichel had a strong performance. He has really grown and matured as a hockey player in the last few seasons.
Team USA will conclude preliminary play on Sunday with a game against Germany. The USA is doing everything it can to keep up with Canada and Sweden.
Jordan Stolz Sets Olympic Record

Stolz sets the 500m Olympic record and wins his second gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
The 21-year-old is sharp and focused. He’s establishing himself as one of the most dominant speed skaters in the competition. His ability to block out outside noise and pressure reminds us of another great American Olympian: Michael Phelps. The Buck doesn’t stop here. There will be more gold medals coming his way.
Stolz is a quiet athlete who lets his performance do all the talking. Stolz has a strong bond with his parents, with whom he’s always in communication before and after. His passion for speed skating began during the 2010 Winter Olympics after watching Apolo Ohno and Shani Davis.
Stolz has two more races to complete: the 1,500 meters on Thursday, and the mass start on Feb. 21.
