Reaching the moon or going to Mars is an experience that only true astronauts can describe because they take the bold risk to achieve a challenging task.
Recently, there was an interview on NBC with NASA’s Jared Isaacman and former NASA astronaut Suni Williams. They went to the platform to share their thoughts and feelings about the 10-day journey.
“You had four absolutely outstanding human beings that brought them, everybody along for the ride throughout the whole 10-day journey and certainly had us all holding our breath as they recentered and came safely back to Earth,” Isaacman said.
“It was incredible,” Williams said. “I got to be down in Florida for the launch and actually to see it happen, it really hit home about all the work that so many people, it’s not just the astronaut office, it’s the whole NASA space contingent as well.”

It’s a dream come true that the whole team got to witness this. The pictures made it all worth it. The journey brought smiles to NASA and the families involved. It’s part of their legacy forever.
The impact of Artemis and the preprint of making everything possible to try reaching the moon or being in space was a very hard process to put it all together. When it comes to space and Mars experience, it’s never an easy assignment.
“It’s extremely hard and that’s why we’d rather figure it out on the South Pole of the moon than before we send astronounts to Mars,” Isaacman said. “That’s what’s so interesting. We are targeting the South Pole of the moon where you have water ice, not to mention the crater ridges give us near eternal light, so we have power, we have water ice, so we can start, mastering the skills in resource manufacturing to make propellant on the moon where you’re days away from coming back to earth if something goes wrong versus figure out when we send astronounts to Mars.”
