The countdown is on as the NASA Artemis 2 Mission will be taking off very soon.
NASA will have to decide how to sequence two operations: fueling the rocket and boarding the spacecraft. Some prefer Artemis 2 to Artemis 1. It depends on the structure and development of everything that goes behind it.
Regardless, it’s the experience and the adventure that have people excited about this takeoff. The astronauts are excited about this movement. Of course, they want to be safe and get home safe when the mission is done. The astronaut’s family will have some jitters, which is natural, but support will be there.
NASA has built a reputation for reliability. NASA is very analytical about testing everything and preparing for everything before the day arrives. The crew might do certain things, such as boarding early, settling in, and avoiding a rushed timeline later in the countdown.
With every space flight, there are risks. Artemis 2 will take a different approach than Artemis 1. The astronauts must stay in the out and wait for directions and signals while the rocket is fueled. Once fueling is complete, teams conduct pressure checks and leak inspections, which is a process that takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
We certainly wish the astronauts many blessings and that everything will work out for the best. They are brave individuals and are achieving their dreams by taking on this mission.
