Novak Djokovic has officially surpassed his former rival and all-time great Roger Federer for the most singles matches in the Open Era, with 430.
The 37-year-old Serbian tennis player is an incredible talent. He doesn’t look like he’s planning retirement any time soon. Djokovic is performing at the top of his game.
Djokovic defeated Jaime Faria with the scores of 6-1 6-7 (4-7) 6-3 6-2 on Wednesday.
But wait, there’s more. Not only did he pass Federer, but Djokovic is the first tennis player to reach 150 Grand Slam victories over the age of 30. Djokovic wants to achieve another goal, whether he admits it or not. Djovokic has the chance of becoming the first person to win 25 Grand Slam singles titles.
