David Steven Cohen Passes Away: Impact on ‘Courage the Cowardly Dog’

David Steven Cohen, head writer of ‘Courage the Cowardly Dog’ has passed away at the age of 58. Cohen was battling cancer.

We don’t know what type of cancer he was diagnosed and for how long he was battling cancer, but it’s still a somber time for his loved ones and everyone else who worked with him. 

The animated comedy series has horror themes. The series takes place in a fictional town in Kansas. 

Cohen joined the writing team in season 1 and later became head writer. Cohen’s work as a writer for this show has been massive. His writing was mainly praised for seasons 2 through 4.

For people who never watched the series, it’s important to highly that this show brings a lot of nostalgia to millennials. In the eyes of many millennials, David created one of the most funniest most goated shows of all time.
