Hollywood Demons is a new documentary series on Max. In each episode, addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky and culture writer Scaachi Koul give their insight and perspective on every Hollywood star who has battled demons and how their lives turned out for the worse.

The first episode premieres on March 24, and it’s called “Stephen Collins, America’s Dad.”

Collins is an actor who has worked in Hollywood for many years. He was part of many known projects, but he will forever be best known for his performance in the WB drama series 7th Heaven, which ran for 11 seasons from 1996 to 2007. He played the role of Eric Camden, a reverend at a church.

In 2014, Collins’s career came to an end when he confessed in an exclusive interview with journalist Katie Couric about the variety of sexual abuse he committed against minors.

Although Collins decided to come out and speak about his past behavior, in the episode of Hollywood Demons, Collins was exposed to not being fully transparent and honest about the whole story of his behavior with minors. Collins tried to make himself look like he was a victim as well.

One of the victims, who was a teenager during the 1980s, revealed her disturbing experience with Collins. She was irate when she saw the interview Collins did with Couric.

Collins would go to extreme measures such as walking around naked and making the teenage girl at the time uncomfortable, and this was happening when Collins had a girlfriend at the time (Faye Grant). Collins and Grant got married in 1985, and their marriage ended in 2015.

Actor Jeremy London also shared his problems and awkwardness dealing with Collins. London starred in “7th Heaven” for two seasons, playing the role of minister Chandler Hampton in Season 7.

Hollywood has a dark history when it to pedophilia. Collins is one of many who have been accused.

Aside from 7th Heaven, Collins is known for his work in Tales of the Gold Monkey and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. He was supposed to appear in the comedy film Ted 2 but was fired after his interview with Couric.
