Amazon Prime Video is continually finding ways to improve as a company. On Tuesday morning, the streaming giant hit the jackpot with a significant announcement.

For the first time, a partnership will be established between Prime Cideo and Augusta National. Isn’t that wild? We will have one of the biggest streaming giants on the planet and the best Golf show coming together.

Prime Video is already enjoying success with the NFL for its Thursday Night Football coverage. The addition of Golf for the Masters Championship will bring more subscriptions to their network. Prime Video is taking a chance, and they’re proving once again that they know how to do business, especially in the sports world.

One of the possible reasons why The Mastees is heading to streaming is that they want to appeal to the young generation. The generations of Gen Z and beyond spend their entire lives watching content on their phones.

Streaming platforms and sports companies are trying to maximize their potential by not losing the fandom of their young audience. They want the yount crowd to tune in to The Masters.

Business constantly changes. We are in the digital era. It’s a smart business move from both sides of the party.

Augusta National will continue its momentum, especially since last April, when they enjoyed a massive moment with Rory McIlroy finally winning The Masters. The event will go down as one of the most memorable Masters Championships in history.

We hope that 2026 will be the same or even better.

Prime Video will debut The Masters on its streaming platform starting in April 2026.
