Basketball legend Michael Jordan and his team, 23XI Racing, came out as big winners against NASCAR. The trial is officially over.

23Xl Racing was well represented by attorney Jeffrey Kessler. Both sides of the Larry have settled.

Outside of the federal courthouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jordan took the time to give his thoughts about the outcome of the trial.

“Today’s a good day,” Jordan said. “I’ve said this from Day 1: Only way this sport is going to grow is we have to find some synergy between the two entities, and I think we’ve gotten to that point.”

It’s a great feeling that Jordan and his team have finally put this to rest. Michael Jordan and driver Denny Hamlin are the co-owners of 23Xl Racing. The main reason this trial got started is that many teams, especially 23Xl Racing, wanted the charters to be permanent, but NASCAR and the France family didn’t want to deliver what the team was asking for. They shut it down.

All hell broke loose after this. 23XI and Front Row accused NASCAR of behaving in a poor business manner.

When Jordan took the stand, he said he needed to challenge NASCAR. He wasn’t going to back down from what he firmly believes is right for the sport of NASCAR. His attorneys advised Jordan that he had violated antitrust laws. The charter agreement became a controversial situation.

“Standing up isn’t easy, but progress never comes from staying silent. The reward is in knowing you changed something,” Hamlin tweeted on X.

23Xl Racing and Front Row Motorsports release a statement.
