Yankees Ticked Off by Orioles’ Pitching

by Miguel Mike Medina

Things are starting to heat up between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees. It’s bringing back that classic competitive rivalry from the 1970s or 1996-1998. Aaron Judge got hit by a pitch on Tuesday night. Yankees fans had to hold their breaths because Judge looked like he was in pain. Aaron Judge is lucky. He’s lucky that he won’t be missing a big chunk of time off the field like Mookie Betts. The X-rays were negative.

Aaron Judge and the Yankees are not happy with the Piolers. They let it be known. The team expressed their displeasure with the way the Orioles are pitching. The Yankees are saying that the Orioles are pitching up and in. If I remember correctly, the Orioles nailed Gleyber Torres as well.

We need to keep our eyes on today’s game because we might see some retaliation.

The Detroit Pistons fired head coach Monty Williams. He left Detroit with five years and over $65 million left on his deal. His team won just 14 games last season, finishing in last place in the Eastern Conference. Did he get fired too soon? Yes. He didn’t have the talent to work with. This is not entirely his fault. Williams didn’t get a fair shake.

Pascal Siakam is staying with Indiana. He enjoyed playing there and wants to run it back after leading them to the Eastern Conference Finals. Siakam and the Pacers agree to a four-year, $189.5 million max contract.

The 30-year-old, who is in his prime, was traded to the Pacers in January by the Toronto Raptors, and he became a crucial piece to the Pacers’ success in the second half of the season. He averaged 21.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 31.8 minutes in 41 games with the Pacers.

Golfer Jon Rahm returns at LIV Nashville after missing the U.S. Open with a foot injury. Rahm withdrew last week from the U.S. Open because of the pain caused by the injury. He has told the press that his foot is “feeling good.”
