Another Day, Another victory for the St John’s Men’s Basketball team as they defeated Xavier Mountaineers 82-72 on Tuesday night.
The Red Storm improved to 13-3, 4-1 Big East Conference.
Zuby Ejiofor led the Johnnies with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks.
RJ Luis Jr. scored 18 points and added 10 rebounds for the Red Storm. Simeon Wilcher went 7 of 15 from the field to finish with 15 points.
St John’s almost went flawlessly from the free throw line. The team made 12 of 13 free throws. The Red Storm dominated and won the rebounding game – 64 to 33. They picked up more steals and blocked more shots than the Mountaineers.
