Australian golfer Min Woo Lee won the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open on Sunday.

It’s his first PGA Tour victory and his 56th career start. Lee did great in the 7th, 8th, 12th, and 13th holes. He got better after the 7th hole and looked sharper.

Scottie Scheffler looked like he would steal one from Woo Lee, but he finished second in the tournament.

Woo Lee spoke with the media after the game. He was exhausted but focused on the task and got the job done.

“It was a very mental grinding day,” Lee said. “I’m super proud to win, and it was a very tough week. I mean, I obviously had a lot of eyes on me and had a four-shot lead going down the last round. I was exhausted, which helped me go to sleep, but I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep, so it was one of those where I think just everything aligned this week, and I’m so proud to be the winner of this trophy.”

With this win, Lee moves to the 16th in the FedEx Cup standings.

“I’ve been playing a lot of good golf, and to get closer to the final top 30, that will be one of the goals I had in mind,” Lee said. “Winning a tournament was one of those goals, and I’m happy to check that off.”

After this accomplishment, Woo Lee will receive more attention. He’s hungry for more wins.
