Hollywood Demons, episode three, explores the dark side of some actors who were part of the Power Rangers franchise.

Power Rangers played a major part in the lives of many kids who grew up watching the series, especially the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which debuted in August 1993 on Fox Kids.

One of the things that kept coming up in this episode was the “Power Rangers Curse.” This is because some actors died and were arrested after leaving the Power Rangers.

For example, Thuy Trang, who played Trini (yellow Ranger), died in a car accident in September of 2001. When her friend described the moment of the accident, it was a very somber scene because of how young Thang was, and it seemed like it was a horrific accident.

Trang’s friend, who describes the scene of the accident, is paralyzed from the neck area and below. She survived, but her life was never the same after the accident.

The suicide death of Jason David Frank caught many of us by surprise. JDF played the Green and White Rangers in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series.

What’s crazy is that his brother, Erik, also died of an apparent suicide many years before. JDF was probably struggling for years when it came to mental health, and in the eyes of the public, he was viewed as a superhero, and he felt that he needed to pretend like everything was going well.

Another ranger with a dark history is David Andrew Medina. His image and reputation took a hit when he was convicted for killing David Sutter, who was the brother of David’s partner.

In this episode, you also hear stories of the behind-the-scenes preparation and treatment of the actors by the production team.

The story behind the scenes of any production is fascinating because you learn about so many details that you never knew about or couldn’t imagine what the talent was going through.

For many actors who worked in Power Rangers, finding work after the TV show was a struggle. We have seen this many times in the Hollywood industry. Most actors are known for just one role.

Overall, this episode is filled with incredible detail and great storytelling, even though there are some pretty dark and sad moments. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Another recommended episode.
