Scottie Scheffler Wins British Open

By Miguel Mike Medina

Scottie Scheffler wins The Open Championship. Scheffler becomes the fourth golfer to win all four major championships before age 30, joining Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.

It’s a remarkable accomplishment for the world’s No. 1 golfer. The most beautiful moment came when his baby son tried to run to get to his father. Scottie scored his second major win of the year.

Matt Fitzgerald, Haotong Li, Harris English, and many more gave it all they had on the golf course. English shot a closing 5-under 66.

They were terrific in the first two rounds, but Scheffler was on the zone in rounds three and four. Scheffler finished at 17-under 267, absolutely dominating the golf course this weekend.

Scheffler has won 20 times worldwide since February 2022. He has a chance to complete the career Grand Slam next summer at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hill.
