Mandy Moore joins the cast of Hulu’s new sports series, reuniting with ‘This is Us’ creator Dan Fogelman.

Moore will join a solid cast with William H. Macy, who has done fantastic work in Shameless, and Christopher Meloni. Moore spent six seasons portraying Rebecca Pearson on NBC’s This Is Us. Her performance in the drama show landed her an Emmy nomination in 2019.

The new Hulu series brings excitement because it’s football, one of the most popular sports in the world. Moore will take the challenge to play the character, and Moore will play Lauren, the daughter and heir of NFL team owner Hank Durkin. Macy is portraying Hank Durkin in the series. It will be interesting to see the chemistry between Moore and Macy. They should bring out the best in each other. Father-daughter on-screen chemistry is very crucial.

Fofelman has a lot of talent when it comes to writing. He is the creator and will serve as one of the show’s executive producers. Fogelman is working on another Hulu show, Paradise, which features another This is Us alumni, Sterling K. Brown, the lead actor and one of the executive producers.

It’s clear that Fogelman loves and has established a great relationship with his actors from the US. Fogelman is looking to build more success with the new NFL series.

Details of the title of the new series are still to be determined.
