Billionaire Warren Buffett is unhappy that Kraft Heinz is splitting into two companies.

Buffett has been a long-time investor and shareholder of Kraft Hertz. As disappointed as Buffett and the company may feel today, they know they must continue going forward for Berkshire Hathaway’s best.

In 2015, Buffett and 3G decided to merge Heinz with Kraft.

Kraft Hertz has been struggling for years. The brand is iconic, and many consumers have fallen in love with their products. One side of the business will begin to focus on sauces, meals, etc., and the other side will focus on grocery items and other food home businesses.

The new companies will start operating separately in 2026. A new era will begin, and this decision will shake some people’s heads, while it will be an interesting challenge for some. Sometimes change is necessary. Hopefully, it works out with this new business development and plan.

Kraft Heinz mentioned in May that the company was conducting a strategic review. The review is to see where the company stands and potentially make significant changes. So the idea of splitting had been circulating in the company for quite some time.

Heinz was founded in 1869 in Pittsburgh.
