Owen Cooper achieved the most significant moment of his acting career when he won the Emmy for Supporting Actor In A Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Adolescence at the 77th Emmy Awards.

It’s the first Emmy win and nomination for Cooper. What makes this even sweeter is that he made his acting debut as Jamie Miller in this series. It’s very rare to win your first Emmy in your first acting job.

“Standing up here is just surreal,” Cooper said. “When I started these drama classes a couple of years back, I didn’t expect to be in the United States, never mind here. I think tonight proves that if you listen, focus, and step out of your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life. I was nothing about three years ago. I’m here now.”

Cooper is living proof that anything is possible if you step out of your comfort zone, and it doesn’t matter if you get embarrassed. You have to go for it and not live in regret. He credits his parents, his team, and the entire cast and crew of Adolescences.

Cooper becomes the youngest-ever male Emmy winner. He’s only 15 years old. Adolescence had a successful night at the Emmys. The British hit show took home six Emmys in total, including for acting, directing, and writing.

Adolescence premiered on Netflix on March 13, and the series has four episodes. Stephen Graham is a creative genius. Not only is he the co-creator of the series, but he also serves as the leading actor.

The show focuses on a 13-year-old who is arrested after the murder of a girl in his school. The series is a combination of crime and psychological drama.
