North Carolina Tar Heels veteran guard Seth Trimble has many things to look forward to this season. He’s stepping up as a vocal leader and is excited to play with his new teammates.

Trimble will go down as a Tar Heel legend. The university means everything to him. Trimble is an effective two-way player, and it would bring a nice ring to his collegiate resume if the Tar Heels can make a deep run for a national championship.

Luka Bogavac is one of the newest members of the Tar Heels. He will be a very critical player for the Tar Heels, especially from the perimeter. Bogavac is from Montenegro, and last season he played professionally at SC Derby before committing to UNC.

Trimble spoke with the media about his relationship with Bogavac so far and how he is as a person.

“Luke as a person is super funny, super personable,” Trimble said. “Once he gets to know you, he is super curious and wants to know a lot about the American culture. As a player, he’s an incredible player. He plays at his own pace and is ultra-aggressive on offense. I’m super excited for that.”

Aside from basketball, Trimble always aspired to be an entrepreneur. Trimble is now the youngest Ben and Jerry’s franchise owner on Franklin Street. He’s only 21, but he knew that he was destined to do more in his life than just basketball.

“It’s more than a blessing to become a franchise owner,” Trimble said. “Just trying my best to set my own path, be my own person, and set an example for athletes to come and keep expanding. It’s something I always thought about. I always wanted to be more than just a basketball player. The idea of entrepreneurship has always been on my mind. My parents set a great path for me to follow. It’s a great opportunity and we’re super excited.”

Trimble’s respect and praise for his parents is beautiful, and setting great values for him since he was a kid is a significant reason why he’s respected and doing well for himself so far. Trimble is off to do amazing things in his life.

The Tar Heel nation is hoping that this upcoming season becomes the best season of Trimble’s college career. He has done a good job so far, and durability will be a factor in the team’s success.

Trimble has learned from his former teammates about leadership, and now it’s his turn to share the knowledge and wisdom with his current teammates.
