Arizona State Sun Devils blow out the Colorado Buffaloes 42-17 in a Week 13 Big 12 matchup on Saturday night. The Sun Devils improve to 8-3 (6-2).

A sloppy performance by both teams, especially the Sun Devils, who committed five turnovers. It was an unacceptable performance, and they were fortunate to perform well offensively against a lackluster Colorado defense.

Running back Ryleek Brown had the game of his life. We might as well call this the “Ryleek Brown Game.” He absolutely put on a show for the Sun Devils. Brown rushed for 255 yards on 22 carries with a touchdown. Brown caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jeff Sims in the second quarter. His biggest run came in the fourth quarter when he ran for 88 yards for the touchdown to put the Sun Devils up 28-17.

The Sun Devils and Buffaloes game was close until the Sun Devils outscored them 21-0 in the fourth quarter. Sun Devils redshirt freshman Jason Brown Jr scored his first touchdown of the season—great moment for the young man.

Wide receiver Derek Eusebio scored a big 68-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Eusebio finished the night with 87 receiving yards on four catches. The Sun Devils had a total of 580 yards – 355 of them came from the run game.

The Sun Devils finished 3-2 away from home, giving them back-to-back winning records on the road for the first time since 2013-14.

Next week is the regular season finale. The Sun Devils will host the Arizona Wildcats again. It’s a must-win game for the Sun Devils, who need to close out the season with another decisive victory.
