The business of sports happens every day, but on this Friday, it has been wild in baseball. What a day of signings for stars Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette.
The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to prove that they are the Golden State Warriors of baseball in this decade. Tucker did not choose the Toronto Blue Jays. He did not choose the New York Mets. Tucker decided to come to Tinseltown on a 4-year, $240 million deal.
The star outfielder is seeking to capture his second World Series championship. He won his first ring as a member of the Houston Astros in 2022. The Dodgers are looking to become the first team since the New York Yankees (1998-2000) to go three-peat.

Bo Bichette’s era in Toronto comes to an end. He will join the New York Mets on a 3-year, $126 million deal. The shortstop joins a team with Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor.
It’s sad to see Bichette leave Toronto. He deserved to win a title in Toronto. Unfortunately, that’s the business of sports. The curiosity part is where the Mets will play him since Lindor plays at shortstop.
