Actor Mark Wahlberg continues to put in work. He’s not everyone’s favorite cup of tea for many reasons. There are moviegoers who believe that Mark always acts as “himself.” I beg to differ, Mark is a talented actor and he’s not afraid to go method in his roles. Mark will be reuniting with Mel Gibson for another project. Lionsgate recently released the trailer for the action-thriller film, Flight Risk. Mel Gibson is the director for this movie and Mark Wahlberg is the leading man.
Gibson and Walhberg will be paired up for the third time. It seems to be enjoying working together. Their first collaboration was for Daddy’s Home 2 and then Father Stu. Their chemistry in Father Stu was fantastic as a father and son on-screen duo.
The synopsis for Flight Risk is a pilot who transports an Air Marshal accompanying a fugitive to trial. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.
The movie is set to be released on October 18, 2024. In Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg, we trust. Gibson hasn’t let me down from a directing standpoint so far.
